The mission of the Audubon Society is to educate the public about birds, other wildlife, and habitat, and to provide opportunities for the community to appreciate the natural world. Wildlife, including deer, red fox, skunks, raccoons and screech owls, have always been abundant on the reserve. Enjoy an outdoor trek through the woods, and don't forget to stop into the nature center for suggestions & other info!
The reserve is now open for use and hiking. Please follow the proper safety and social distancing guidelines provided by the state in the Green Phase of reopening.
Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance
Groups traveling together on trails must be groups of 15 people or under.
Other than restrooms, facility use is not included in this experience. Groups may find an informal space for lunch/ snack that does not disturb other visitors. Be sure that all garbage is disposed of proper.
Parking may be limited during the summer months. Bus drivers may need to find alternative parking while the kids are visiting.
Allow 1 to 2 hours to enjoy your visit. Please provide an estimated time of departure with your request.
Maximum group size is 50 (must be split into groups of 15 or less when traveling on trails).
