Jr. Journeys Edition:
This series contains two videos and is perfect for kids ages Kindergarten to 2nd grade! When making your request in the portal, list how many kids you expect to participate. Once approved, you will receive access to both videos.

Video 1: Voice (15 minutes)
Ever wondered what it takes to perform in a play, TV show, or movie? All of those skills are about telling a story! In this video, students will explore telling stories using their voices. Experiment with speed, pitch, and emotion to create vibrant and distinct characters. This high-energy lesson features games, theatre exercises, and a read-aloud of the story Miss Nelson is Missing by Henry Allard.

Video 2: Body (18 minutes)
In this video, students will explore telling stories using their bodies. Explore moving like everything from a little old lady, to a towering giraffe. This high-energy lesson features dance parties, animal movement, and a read-aloud of the story Elephants Cannot Dance by Mo Willems.

NEW - Video 3: Imagination (19 minutes)
In this video, students will explore using their imagination to tell stories. Think on your feet to create objects out of thin air! This high-energy lesson features games, imaginative movement, and a read-aloud of the story Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas by Natasha Yim.

A more advanced edition of the video described above for an older audience. Kids will learn what it takes to perform in a play, TV show, or movie and play high-energy games to learn about speed, pitch and emotion to create characters.

Video 2: Body (15 minutes)
In this video, students will explore telling stories using their bodies. Drawing inspiration from the chapter book Dragons in a Bag by Zetta Elliot, students will create frozen statues, experience magic movement spells, and move like different characters around their own space.
