Carnegie Science Center is one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. Since opening its doors in 1991, Carnegie Science Center has been an institution of singular importance, providing access to exceptional informal science education and offering transformative experiences for children and adults alike. In addition to providing valuable scientific experiences, Carnegie Science Center engages in outreach programs that serve Pittsburgh's diverse community. The Science Center is located on Pittsburgh's North Shore along the banks of the Ohio River and is accessible to persons with disabilities.

You MUST provide an alternate date.


In the "Notes" section, you MUST advise what your group is planning for lunch. Options include:
- Bringing bag lunches
- Purchasing in cafe
- Eating offsite elsewhere.
Requests with no lunch selection will not be approved.

Is your group larger than 50? Please acknowledge that your group is responsible for admissions above 50 (see below for rates) in the notes section.


Please wear something to identify your attendees as a group (e.g. stickers with group name, matching shirts, etc).

The Science Center is open year round, with the exception of the following days:
New Year’s Day (1/1/2018)
Thanksgiving Day (11/23/2018)
Christmas Day (12/25/2018)

Carnegie Science Center is typically closed on days when there are Steelers home games or other major events at Heinz Field. Please check the museum website for further information.

TFK tickets are NOT available for the following dates:
May: all weekdays
June: 1-9
December: 23-31

Sun - Fri: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Sat: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Maximum group size is 50 total.
Minimum group size is 8 total.
Groups larger than 50 must pay for the additional admissions:
Weekday rates: $8/person
Weekend rates: $10/person

Children and adults who are on the autism spectrum or have sensory sensitivities are invited to Carnegie Science Center's Sensory Sensitive Science Hours on select Sundays from 10 am-1 pm. Exhibit lights and sound effects will be adjusted and special activities will be added to foster a safe, welcoming, and most of all, fun, environment for all visitors.
